Chief Deployment Officer
Mr. Boillat is responsible for Sweetwater’s infrastructure build-out, including managing all logistics for the company. Mr. Boillat has over 30 years experience in the telecommunications industry, in start-up ventures, turnaround situations, as well as established carrier organizations. He helped found the start-up company, ACC Long Distance, holding various sales, marketing and operations roles, culminating as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Boillat has also served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Current Communications Services, Executive Vice President of Global Crossing’s local telephone service businesses, President and Chief Operating Officer of Frontier Cellular, and Vice President Sales and Marketing for Cellular One.
Mr. Boillat was recognized as one of Rochester Business Journal’s top 40 under 40 in 2001 for his career accomplishments and community leadership. In 2014 he was inducted into the Rush-Henrietta Alumni Council Hall of Fame.
Board, Community, and Charitable Pursuits
Mr. Boillat is an active board member for the Bivona Child Advocacy Center, and has past served on the boards of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation–Rochester Chapter, WXXI and Missing and Exploited Children. He directed Frontier Cellular to initiate four major community programs: partnership with the Make-a-Wish Foundation; ClassLink–which donated over $250,000 in wireless equipment and service to enhance education; the COPP program–providing free cellular phones to police departments and neighborhood watch groups and the donation of wireless phones to women’s shelters to prevent domestic violence.
